Somewhere near San José

My friend Arghavon lives near San José in northern California and we hiked up what seemed like a moderately-sized hill, but in actuality was nearly a mountain towering through the clouds. From the top, you can see the cities of San José, Santa Cruz, San Fransisco, and Oakland. I shot this using 800 ISO film with a yellow filter and lens hood.

The scenery is beautiful and I really like the use of filter and though the vignette is a little strong, I think it really works for this picture.

I'm not sure what to think or how you did this. It looks really awesome, almost like it was scanned from an old magazine. Colors are really nice. Vignette(sp?) is a nice touch.

Looks great Ashley, the grain is awesome and the lighting is beautiful (you must have used the alien bees). Good job Rouse!
